Responsibilities

  • Manage the interface between project teams and the BIM production Group

  • Manage the production of models via any source, i.e consultants, BPG, survey parties, trade contractors

  • Produce scope documents for any third party modelling/survey requirements

  • Provide additional modelling capability and skills where required.

  • Review BIM models produced BPG and others for Quality and accuracy purposes.

  • Produce cost plans based on NRM1 utilising general rates i.e not elemental cost plan.

  • Assist in assessing the BIM Capabilities of the supply chain.

  • Develop high level 4D programmed information and detailed 4D information.

  • Produce Employer Information Requirements (EIR) and agree with all parties.

  • Produce BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and agree with all parties including LOD/LOI.

  • Ensure federated model is produced and is co-ordinated.

  • Producing Elemental cost plan.

  • Undertake clash detection process to develop the model.

  • Continue model management services commenced in the pre-construction phase incorporating trade contractors, clash detection and any Facility Management information into the scheme.

  • Produce health and safety information and logistics information for wider presentation.

  • Arrange for As-built scanning and modelling as required and agreed by the EIR/BEP.

  • Assist in developing software requirements for developing BIM and in ensuring BIM software is rolled out across.

  • Developing periodic reports related to the activities of the department.

  • Communicating with consultants for clarifying and completing technical information through the General Manager.

  • Administrative Responsibilities

  • Recommending required training and enhancement areas to subordinates.

  • Conducting performance management activities to subordinates on periodical base to establish base for rewards and otherwise

  • Manage and delegate subordinates personnel affairs such as leaves, vacations…etc

  • Build up loyalty earring process of your team by better communication and understanding of the team matters and responsible response.

  • Support General Manager work-related tasks.

  • Coordinating with all other functional departments.

Physical Demand

  • When needed, he/she is required to travel to local/international sites.

 

Requirements

  • BIM Theory Knowledge and Experienced: Advanced

  • Computer Skills: Expert

  • English: fluency in speaking and writing

  • Years of experience: 7 – 10

  • Degree: B.Sc degree (PMP or/and MSc are preferred)

  • Presentable

  • Excellent Communication skills
